Search for a new actual interpretative paradigm regarding the urban youth musical cultures. Specific interest in the punk culture singularity and its importance to interpretate contemporary youth cultures.
Focus on the approach of the punk artistic and discursive production as contemporary identity frames.
Inception of a plural methodology in order to study the Portuguese punk scenes’.
Development of an international comparison regarding youth cultures and musical scenes in Southern Europe, particularly Portugal.
